  Mailbox limits

ESF mailboxes start with an initial storage limit of 50 MB.

When a mailbox reaches 80% of its maximum storage capacity, the user of that mailbox will be automatically notified of their status by the server. When a mailbox reaches 100% of its maximum capacity, the user of that mailbox will be automatically notified of their status and their ability to send email from that mailbox will be prohibited.

The maximum attachment size that can be sent or received is 5 MB (or 5120 KB).

Freeing up storage space on the server

Users should note that Items previously sent (Sent items) or deleted (Deleted items) will count against your maximum storage limit. To free up this space, users should permanently delete any sent items and empty their 'deleted items folder' on the server. The easiest way to accomplish this is through the ESF Web Access Client or through the Mailbox in the folder list of Microsoft Outlook on their Campus PC.
