Microsoft product purchasing procedure:

Select the product you wish to purchase below.
Download, print, and fill-in the appropriate purchase request for the product(s) you are interested in purchasing (Available for State and Research Foundation in both PDF and XLS formats).
Obtain a Requisition Number from this site and add it to any State purchase requests you use from this site. The Requisition Number must be clearly visible on the purchase request. This is a new requirement as of 3/2006.
After the form(s) is completed, forward it to Purchasing in Bray Hall.
When you receive your yellow or green copy of the purchase order, please contact CNS in room 317 Baker to arrange installation or to borrow a product CD. Your purchase order copy and your college ID will be requested to act as a record that you have a product installation CD. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

Free (alternative) Office Suites available:

There are currently several free office suites available for download. These suites are Microsoft Office compatible and have, in most cases, similar functionality to Microsoft's suite. Two of these are: OpenOffice and EasyOffice. Save money and try these free alternatives today. CNS provides this information as a service to the Campus community, but is unable to support or distribute these free products at this time.


	Microsoft Select Pricing: PCs residing on the ESF are eligible to receive software under the Microsoft Select Pricing agreement (See the products listed on this page) if purchased through normal college purchasing procedures. This agreement allows for substantial discounts for nearly all Microsoft products. Discounts of up to 75% off retail prices are possible under this program. If you require a Microsoft software product and do not see it listed here, please contact us for pricing information. This pricing agreement DOES NOT include 'install at home privileges.'
