Through an agreement with Microsoft and SUNY, certain Microsoft Products are available for Campus distribution without cost to the end user provided the software will be installed on a State/Campus owned device (see below for personal purchase details). Software titles available under this agreement with Microsoft include:

This software is distributed via the Web (versions of Office) or CD/DVD (versions of Windows and Visual Studio).

To obtain a copy of Microsoft Office (on-Campus only), please click the button below. To obtain a version of Microsoft Windows or Visual Studio, please go to 317 Baker Labs and borrow a CD or DVD. You will be asked to surrender you College ID Card in order to borrow a software CD/DVD.

After requesting download access to Microsoft Office (PC or Mac) you will receive an email with installation instructions.

Personal purchase discounts:

As part of the ESF agreement With Microsoft, some of these products are also available for purchase and installation onto personally-owned home equipment at substantial discounts (in some cases as much as 95% off the retail price). You will need to select your purchase method, identify yourself as a Faculty/Staff or Students, and select the institution (ESF is listed under Syracuse) once at this site. Software purchased under this agreement must be removed when the individual is no longer associated with the College.
