Library Laptops
Need to use a laptop while in Moon Library? Well, now you can
borrow one!
A small number of laptops are available in Moon Library that can be
signed out by ESF Students only. All you need to do is fill out a laptop
loan agreement with the Librarian at the Reference Desk. The laptops
come with Microsoft Office 2003 and the ability to connect to the
Evergreen Wireless Network.
General Information (From the Library Laptop Loan Agreement):
 | Laptops are checked out on a first come first serve basis from
the reference desk. They may be used during the hours when a
librarian is at the reference desk (generally 8 a.m. -9 p.m. Monday
through Thursday) and must be used in the Moon Library only.

| Laptops were purchased with SUNY-ESF technology fee money and
only ESF students may borrow laptops. A valid ID will be scanned at
the time of the loan and will be held until the laptop is returned.
Those whose library privileges are blocked may not borrow a laptop.

| Laptops must be returned within 3 hours or one hour
before the librarian leaves the desk which ever comes first. Laptops
may not be renewed.

| Overdue fines of 20 cents per minute are charged (with a 15
minute grace period during which no fine is charged.) The
replacement cost for a laptop that is lost, stolen or damaged is
$1,500. |
