Setting up new Faculty and Staff users on the ESF Campus Network:

Faculty/Staff:

A user/email account may be requested by any employee (Faculty or Staff) of ESF at any time if the request is made by the individual in person. A direct supervisor may also request such accounts for their employees. New employees who have not yet started with the College may have their accounts set up in advance only if the request is made by the direct supervisor.

Students:

Student user accounts (credentials) are created automatically for all students enrolled in classes at ESF. The accounts are used for gaining access to public PCs on the main Campus in Syracuse, and accessing network information to which the specific user is authorized. Students do not receive ESF (esf.edu) email accounts. Syracuse University provides email for all ESF students and they should be contacted if problems/questions arise with student email (443-2677, or http://its.syr.edu).
